I also called them twice to fix my porch, because puddles kept on forming after rainfall. They kept saying that there is no problem with the porch.

I made the mistake of buying 2 homes in Summerville, SC, one for me and one for my daughter. Unfortunately, on new construction, protection in a declining market is non-existent. The reason why the protection that fails veterans like me is that when you get into a contract for new construction a home's market value can change dramatically before the transaction is closed. In a declining market what happens and what will continue to happen is that when the VA-assigned appraiser comes out to do their work they will encounter some common conditions. Speaking with numerous Plantation Homes representatives always left me feeling excited, but I wanted to make sure I was researching all home builders fairly. I did see numerous complaints and 1-star negative reviews which talked about issues that later needed to be rectified.
We even brought out a level to show it was uneven, but they were still too stubborn to listen. After they were done ruining it, it looked even worse. The second time they came, they made it even worse and left a mess of concrete on the porch.
Google takes this into consideration and considers very low evaluations on the BBB site to be evidence for a negative reputation. They are slapped together and have major construction quality issues. Worse off, Lennar does not stand behind its poor work.

The representative in charge of our house was a very nice person, who was concerned with our opinion about several changes we wanted. We had countless meetings during construction, and were always treated well. We had a few problems after moving in, but these were all fixed within the first month.
Don't expect to call a Lennar rep to resolve your issues. You will be told for two weeks that someone will be at your place to repair your garage. You will be at your place every day for two weeks waiting for someone that never shows. When you contact Lennar, they will tell you someone will be there the next day first thing in the morning. All the while you are staying in a home with no working furnace during December. Think again before purchasing a Lennar home in Woodbridge Va.

Not only that but there are some shipping delays that others have experienced where homes are starting to take a full 12 months to complete. That isn’t really their fault as just about every other builder is going through the same issues.
